Accountant I (Corpus Christi Texas)

The Senior Accountant will play a crucial role in executing our day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our financial processes. This position requires an individual with 3-7 years of accounting experience, capable of handling prepaids, accruals, monthly journal entries, and leading the monthly close process. Additionally, the Senior Accountant will lead accounting projects and manage specific areas such as sales and inventory accounting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting and Reconciliation: Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Perform detailed account reconciliations to ensure the integrity of general ledger accounts.
  • Monthly Close Process: Lead and manage the monthly close process, ensuring all financial activities are recorded accurately and timely. This includes preparing and reviewing journal entries and account reconciliations for prepaids, accruals, sales, and inventory.
  • Project Leadership: Take the lead on accounting projects, implementing improvements in processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Sales and Inventory Accounting: Manage sales accounting, ensuring accurate revenue recognition and compliance with accounting standards. Oversee inventory accounting, including valuation, cost analysis, and inventory adjustments.
  • Compliance and Internal Controls: Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements. Maintain strong internal controls over financial processes and reporting.
  • Collaboration and Support: Work closely with other departments to provide accounting support and insight. Assist in budget preparation and financial analysis as needed.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement within the accounting function and implement changes to optimize operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or similar certification is preferred although not required.
  • 3-7 years of accounting experience, with a strong background in financial reporting, month-end close processes, and general ledger management.
  • Proficient in accounting software and systems, with a keen ability to adapt to new technologies.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading projects and improving accounting processes.
  • Solid understanding of sales and inventory accounting practices.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Wellfield Maintenance (San Diego & Kingsville TX)

The Wellfield Maintenance is responsible for Installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery, equipment, structures, and pipe in and around company well field by performing the following duties. Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment used in and around well field.

Monitor and listen for unusual sounds from well field machines or equipment to detect malfunction and discuss machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem or repair machine. Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts. Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery used in well field. Installs and repairs broken pipe, casing, and or any related well field equipment. All other duties as assigned.

Employee must have the ability and willingness to work up to a 12-hour shift outdoors, must be willing to work overtime when required and approved by Superintendent, and must have the ability and willingness to work alternating day and night shifts.

Education, Experience & Skill Requirements

  • High School Diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Related experience and/or training.

Radiation Safety Technician

As an Industrial Radiation Safety Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that all radiation-related activities in our facility comply with safety regulations and procedures. Perform radiation surveys using specialized equipment to identify and quantify radiation levels. Monitor radiation exposure of employees and implement control measures to reduce exposure. Develop and maintain radiation safety procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. Provide radiation safety training to employees, contractors, and visitors. Maintain and calibrate radiation detection equipment. Respond to radiation emergencies and incidents. All other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience & Skill Requirements

  • Four (4) weeks of generalized training (up to two (2) weeks on the job training) in radiation health
    protection applicable to uranium recovery facilities.
  • One (1) year of work experience using sampling and analytical laboratory procedures that involve
    health physics, industrial hygiene, or industrial safety measures to be applied in a uranium recovery
    facility; or
  • High school diploma
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Three (3) months of specialized training (one (1) month may be on the job training) in radiation
    health protection relevant to uranium recovery facilities.
  • Two (2) years of relevant work experience in applied radiation protection.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Valid Texas driver’s license and clean driving history

Manager, Geology (Casper, Wyoming)

 We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager of Geology to join our team. The Manager of Geology will be responsible for overseeing all geological activities within the company, including exploration, data analysis, and project management. The successful candidate will have a strong background in geology, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of managing successful geological projects.

GIS Manager / Analyst

The GIS Manager will support GIS systems science and infrastructure company wide. The GIS Manager will set up and administer all ArcGIS Pro applications and licensing for users.

Key Responsibilities

  • The position will design, develop, implement, and manage GIS systems and databases to access and store geospatial data, as well as create mobile and online applications as needed.
  • Design, develop, and prepare maps and images for enCore’s land, exploration, permitting, and development departments as needed.
  • Convert current and historical paper data (maps, logs, etc.) to digital as directed by management.

Education, Experience & Skill Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree program from an accredited college or university with major coursework in geology, geoinformatics, geography, urban planning, spatial analytics, geographic information systems, computer science, information management systems, including GIS coursework, or related degree.
  • Extensive experience with Geographic Information Systems at the whole performance level designing, maintaining, and producing geospatial data and map production, including the use of Esri’s ArcGIS suite of software products or similar GIS software.
  • Technical project management experience directing GIS activities involving professional-level expertise in the design, development, implementation, & administration of geographic information systems, including analysis, database development, and integration.
  • Demonstrated team leadership and management of Esri’s ArcGIS software products.

Laboratory Technician

The position will report to the Alta Mesa site. Performs and reports physical, chemical analysis of water, production solutions, process eluant and product analysis for company and regulatory requirements. Test and analyze samples in a general wet chemistry lab. Operate, Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment used for laboratory testing, such as pipettors and spectrophotometers. Use automated equipment that analyzes multiple samples at the same time. Prepares chemical reagents and samples. Maintains files of sampling reports, chain of custody records, laboratory data, quality assurance records and other written correspondence. Follow all Standard Operating Procedures, Instructions and Safe Work Practices in the execution of the duties of the position.
